Sportive Medical Certificate
Most of the European cyclosportives that you are likely to want to ride with require you to either present a racing licence or a medical certificate to show that you are fit and healthy enough to participate in the event. This includes the Etape du Tour and La Marmotte in France as well as the Maratona dles Dolomites in Italy. In France, this is law, and without an up to date certification you will not be able to participate in sporting events (including triathlons).
Over the past years we have been asked by many of our clients if we can provide this as a part of the testing process. Well the answer now is yes! Sportstest has teamed up with Dr James Gill who will check each application, and provide you with the relevant certification.
The process will require you to fill in our online health check (below), and if needed Dr Gill will contact you be telephone to check over any relevant information. The certification will then be provided to you via email, or at the time of your Sportstest appointment. All designed to save you time and effort from needing to visit a GP in person.
The good news is that you will only be charged for the certificate if you meet our stringent medical criteria. In certain cases we may recommend that you undergo further medical investigations for us to offer you the sportive medical certification. In this case there will be no cost.
The cost of provision of a Medical Certificate for sportives, triathlons or other sporting events is £50, this will be billed once you have submitted your information, and we are happy that you meet the guidelines of the event.
