Dr Garry Palmer BA (Hons), PhD, FACSM

Dr Garry Palmer analyses a clients fitness test resultsGarry has his first degree in sports studies and is currently a Reader in sports science, specialising in exercise physiology and an accredited physiologist for both sports science support and research with the British Association of Sports and Exercise Sciences. He has recently been advanced to the status of Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine.

Dr Palmer has a number of published papers and Case Studies in the field of sports science and has worked at World Championship level for a number of sports. He is also the author of the recently published book "Cycling: Successful Sportives", the first in a new Elite Performance series from publishers A&C Black.

Not only that...he practices what he preaches...

 

Natalie Litchfield

Natalie Litchfield, the helpful and plesant voice at the end of the phone, and ready to greet you at SportstestNatalie competed in the British Championships both as an individual and at team events. She also has an International Diploma in Sports Therapy and coached the British Gymnastics Women's Artistic Seniors prior to becoming involved with Sportstest™. This experience allied to management and administration skills developed running a Sports Centre that ensures the day to day smooth running of the Sportstest™ operation.

 

 

David Murphy

Self described as a “gym goer with an active social life.” David realised that previous misconceptions and inaccurate “guesstimates” around training zones were having a negative effect on his exercise. Realising this must be the case for many he is helping to make more people aware of how they can benefit from scientifically accurate analysis.

 

 

Richard Dando BSc (Hons), MSc

The newest member of the Sportstest team, Richard Dando brings a nice mix of youth and experienceRichard has just completed his MSc in Applied Sports and Exercise Science at the University of Wolverhampton where his particular interests lay in the testing of athletes to monitor performance and the development of inter-disciplinary training approaches to help athletes improve performance. Richard is a keen triathlete himself.
