Train in Spain - March 2011

Train in Spain with Sportstest

Hosted by Train in Spain, Dr Garry Palmer of Sportstest™ will be leading two early season training weeks/camps from 12-19th March (which will include the Denia Fallas Festival) and 19-26th March 2011, designed for those looking to target road racing or sportive riding.

The camps will take a scientific approach to combine both on and off the bike work to ensure you come away not only fitter, but with an enhanced knowledge of how to take your performance to the next level. In 2010 this included plenty of advice on all aspects of training including diet and nutrition. Dr Palmer also offers excellent additional services such as body fat analysis, urine testing for hydration and full fitness testing using gas analysis. Garry also delivers excellent evening seminars which athletes on the camp found to be both entertaining and informative.

The programme for 2011, will be very similar to that of 2010 (we covered ~600km, with over 6,500m of climbing), but will be adjusted according to group needs and weather conditions. Some photos from the 2010 camp can be found on the Sportstest Facebook pages.

Featuring one or two weeks of riding, coaching, scientific support, full board in a 4* hotel, and some of the best roads in the Costa Blanca, this will be a camp not to be missed.
