So when did you last finish a race and were really pleased with your performance?
So why is that?
Race day performance can always be measured in a number of ways. Did you beat a personal best; complete a distance/challenge that was new to you; finish in front of an old adversary; or simply execute a plan well?
To me, I think an athlete should never be happy with their performance:
The day I am happy with the way I performed, will be the day I retire from sport!
Consider how you evaluate your race days, and look how you can improve next time!
Have a good training week
